DESCRIPTION
The organization and internal management of companies are primary drivers of their performance. This course draws on neoclassical and behavioral economics to develop principles and tools for attracting and retaining the right employees, motivating them to work hard and smart, ensuring that employees and units work together, and putting the organization's scarce resources to their best use. Topics include compensation and benefits; incentives and promotions; organizational systems; behavioral obstacles and opportunities; and internal markets.
