DESCRIPTION
Humans are meaning-making machines. Seventy thousand years ago, at the dawn of the Cognitive Revolution, we built language to protect and organize ourselves, and we've been talking our way toward trust, power, and belonging ever since. Today those conversations take more forms than ever: the meeting, the pitch, the hallway, the post, the room you walk into cold. Every MBA program teaches communication: how to structure a presentation, write a clean memo, run a meeting. Those are real skills, and because they can be taught, they can increasingly be automated. AI will draft the memo and polish the deck. But there's a harder thing no program reliably produces: the person beneath the skills. The one who can walk into a high-stakes room, say the true thing everyone else is avoiding, and move people to act. That capability is rare, and it's human. Yes, it's the thing companies are hunting for. But it's bigger than any job. It's how you move through the world. It's how you show up in every room you enter, for the rest of your life: the boardroom and the dinner table, the negotiation, the friendship, and the hard conversation. Selling Yourself & Your Ideas is the course that builds it. It will push you out of your comfort zone to show up, stand out, and break through everywhere you go. You'll develop the knowledge, skills, and disciplines of a powerful, influential communicator. It will provide the one thing an MBA rarely gives you and no AI tool ever will: the presence and the nerve to be unmistakably yourself when it counts. You will emerge as a high-performing professional, and also a better colleague, partner, friend, and human.
