Building and Managing an AI Native Company

DESCRIPTION
The disruption driven by AI-first and AI Native companies is real. The rhetoric around Software as a Service being dead, legacy businesses losing relevance overnight, and the restructuring of knowledge work is not just market noise — it is a fundamental shift in how value is created, captured, and delivered. At the same time, the constant refrain that "everyone won’t work in the future" deserves scrutiny. This course confronts both the hype and the reality head-on.
Building and Managing an AI Native Company puts you hands-to-keyboard to conceive, design, build, and launch an idea from zero to one — using AI as the core architectural principle, not as a feature bolted on afterward. Students work through four innovation horizons, progressing from identifying a workflow ripe for disruption, identifying and benchmarking to an outcome with deterministic outcomes, studying variability paths with probabilistic outcomes, and finally trying to unlock a reasoning agent that ships the human mind to an autonomous machine with systems thinking.
This is not a theory course. We will have some pedagogy with company examples building AI native, case studies of AI native companies, but mostly we will be executing with the MBA systems thinking required to build AI native. Ideally you will have a live product, website, a working agent, and a go-to-market pitch. Every week compounds on the last. The depth of the challenge you choose is entirely up to you.
